Growing the Team: Welcoming Leona Chen-Birkner

Since the launch of GlobalBlock in March, the Brand Safety Alliance (BSA) team has continued our efforts to advance brand protection through effective domain name blocking. To build on this momentum and drive further success, we are excited to announce that Leona Chen-Birkner is joining us as Senior Manager of Business Development. Leona brings over 18 years of extensive experience in the domain name industry, renowned for her deep expertise and exceptional skill set. Most recently, as Vice President of Registrar Relations, she played a pivotal role in launching the .Asia and .KiDS Top-Level Domains, contributing significantly to their growth and success. In her new role at BSA, Leona will focus on strengthening relationships with the Registry and Agent community while exploring new initiatives to support the expansion of GlobalBlock. Her efforts will be instrumental in broadening the coverage and enhancing distribution channels. Leona shared her enthusiasm about joining us: “I’m excited to be part of the Brand Safety Alliance team and contribute to the future of brand protection.
